Email Help - Multi Factor Authentication Help (MFA)

Various info on setting up MFA with email and other accounts.

1. Setting UP Multifactor Authentication (MFA / 2FA) for your ICLSD email account.

1.1. Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Your School Gmail Account

  1. Sign in to your school Google account.
  2. Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select Manage your Google Account.
  3. Select Security from the left menu.
  4. Under How you sign in to Google, click 2-Step Verification.
  5. Click Get Started and enter your password if prompted.
  6. Choose how you want to receive verification codes:
    • Google Prompt (recommended)
    • Authenticator App
    • Text Message or Phone Call
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
  8. When finished, confirm that 2-Step Verification shows as On.

Your account is now protected with Multi-Factor Authentication.
